On October 30th Chuck took his first solo flight in both the 2-33 and the 1-26. Chuck teaches an aviation class at Hamilton high school and has recently joined the gliding club. Chuck already had experience in aviation as he was a Golden Knight and held powered aircraft ratings in the past. Chuck took three take off and landings with our instructor Ryan Polster before Ryan endorsed him and sent him up on his own. He soloed n the morning when is was nice and cool. the are was smooth and offered prefect conditions for a solo. Chuck is already preparing for a private checkride and we couldn't be happier to have him in our club. Chuck also teaches a few of our younger pilots so its exciting to watch as the gliding community grow in Hamilton, Texas.
